You see. There’s this enormous.. i mean humongous.. absolutely colossal misconception around this so called Half an hour of physical activity 3 times a week business. Everybody is led to think that If you train for 30 minutes, 3 times per week your going to become slim and live in good health. Which by no means is wrong… unless you want to loose your preferred weight target in the next 20 years!!
The point I’m trying to make here is that low intensity training sessions at 30 - 45 minutes a go does absolutly nada if you are aiming to loose weight fast. I mean if you are trying to loose weight slow then you should carry on doing what you are doing but most people just want to loose weight pretty fast!
Wouldn’t It be far more convenient if you could loose 4 times as much weight in virtually half the time?
Without a doubt it would. You would be a fool to say no!
The thing is you can do just that!
Its called Interval Training or referred to as High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T). It happens to be without a doubt the smartest way for you to burn fat. Plus, when combined with certain foods that burn extra fat your weight loss aspirations will quickly come true!
So what exactly is Interval Training then?
Interval training is a method of working out that requires relatively brief bursts of “really intense” exercise, followed by “recovery” intervals. (These “recovery” periods do not, however, require supportive get togethers in church basements, bad coffee, or turning anything over to a higher power.) Just gasping for air and cursing.
Think you will have to bring your favourite novel along with you to read while you workout? Think again. Interval Training takes no prisoners. If you wish to read a book, go to a library.
Alright so to get going your best bet is to warm up for about 5 to 10 minutes purely to avoid any injuries. You may use which ever machine you prefer. Personally, I always like to use the rowing machine. Its excellent for an all-round workout. But you may use the bike or the treadmill its your choice.
After this you go all out and give it everything you’ve got for approximately 30 seconds or so depending on your current fitness level. Basically you haul ass!!
Then you rest for Thirty seconds and repeat this until you simply can't repeat any longer.
And what you're going to discover after a while providing you continue to be consistent is that you will quickly realize your unwanted fat literally start melting from you plus your fitness levels will fly through the roof!
Interval Training is commonly used everyday by world class soccer players and other athletes all over the world! (no wonder they have such tiny body fat percentages)
Also just incase you considered I had been making this stuff up.. There are various studies that demonstrate high intesity workouts in as little as 20 minutes will be more effective than a 2 hour low-to-moderate workout such as a jog! Check out foods that burn belly fat for more information.
